An Ancient Village of Art and Culture

It is a medieval village among the most appreciated in Emilia Romagna and not only known for its uniqueness and richness on a historical level; Busseto, a municipality with just over 7,000 inhabitants in the province of Parma, is part of the club of the most beautiful villages in Italy. After being the capital of the Pallavicino State for almost 500 years it became a municipality starting from the 16th century by the will of the emperor Charles V. A city rich in history and culture which became famous, among many aspects, for having given birth to the famous Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi who was born in Le Roncole, a small fraction of Busseto. This is one of the reasons why today the village is particularly loved and visited by Italian tourists and not only.
